SPOTLIGHT: BC Government to Compensate All Woodlands Survivors

Thanks to Charisse at Pathways for passing along this news from Inclusion BC:

The provincial government announced plans over the weekend to compensate former residents of Woodlands who had been excluded from a 2010 settlement because they were born after 1974. The government also announced plans to raise settlement amounts to $10,000 for all survivors. Read the government news release here:

Knitting Know-how…

We had some fun at the office today when Joel joined in with Samantha’s Friday knitting crew!

Here he is learning to knit, getting tutored by the (very patient!) Doreen:

Think you can teach Joel a thing or two?  Suggest an activity – give Joel a call  (1-888-491-2907) or swing by the office.

In memory of our dear friend….

Yesterday, the Community Connections Support Services family lost our dear friend Brenda S.

We are sad for her family and especially her husband Danny and are so thankful to have known her and are blessed to have had her be part of our lives.
