First, it’s important that there was a time when quarantine and ‘social distancing’ was the way of the world much more often. This is an ad from about 1911 that was passed along that illustrates the need to use technology to stay in touch:

The main thing right now is to be really careful and practice social distancing. This is a great graphic that shows the power of staying at home during this crisis:
