Community Connections Support Services has partnered with the Grand Forks Fire Department to offer an upcoming Fire Extinguisher Training
Event Date: Thursday May 23, 2019
Location: Grand Forks Fire Department – 7214 2nd St. Grand Forks BC
Time: 10:30 AM to noon
There will be a fire safety and fire prevention component, followed by a practical hands-on training in the use of fire extinguishers.
We encourage you and the individuals you support to participate and learn new skills or refresh old ones.
Please contact Sue Clark to register those that will attend by May 17, 2019, please check out the poster below.

Time: 10:30 AM the training takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete

On February 26th, COPCS received an invitation from John Horgan (Premier of B.C.), Shane Simpson (Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction) and Katrine Conroy (Minister of Children and Family Development).
The COPCS Executives were invited to represent our members on February 28th for the announcement regarding rate increases for caregivers in BC.The Premier and Minister ‘s expressed a sincere thank you to all caregivers across the province. The recognition given to caregivers was extremely emotional for all those who attended.
