Behavioural Support Training – Kootenays

From Cari at CLBC (Thanks!)

“Hi,  Please find attached the CLBC free online Behavioural training that is being offered for Fall 2022.

CLBC encourages service providers to make the time for their staff & encourage home share providers to attend these workshops.

Training is the first step to building capacity within the community, and last year we found that the service providers with the lowest attendance were also the ones who struggled the most with supporting individuals with challenging situations.  This is also a cost effective way to train staff as well as it is online.

There is a full year of workshops planned, and this is just the beginning! Service providers can go to the website to register their staff members at https://pivotpoint.ca/calendar/

If you have any questions please connect with Kymberley through Pivot Point.

Thank you so much.”

CLBC Update: They Need Your Help!

From CLBC:

Before the pandemic, we asked the people we serve, their families, service partners and CLBC staff what they thought about the way CLBC describes our services (as outlined in the Catalogue of Services, a document that has a description of our services in it). We want to thank everyone who participated in those sessions.

We now have an opportunity to finish this work and want to hear from you about the draft changes we’ve made.

To make sure this is done right, we need to hear from you!

Click this link for more information on the information sessions.
