Okanagan – ANNUAL FREE COPCS BBQ , May 28th

Hi everyone, COPCS is hosting their Family BBQ for Kelowna- and Penticton-area members.  Check it out!

Just a reminder that the COPCS Free Family BBQ in Kelowna will be on Saturday, May 28th from 12:00 – 3:00pm . (Invitation Attached)

Kelowna and Ok Falls: ANNUAL FREE COPCS BBQ

Dear COPCS Member(s),

 
     With the more-than-welcome season change, BBQ days are hear again!!!  Please join us for our annual free COPCS Family BBQ. (Invitation Attached)
We are having BBQ’s at the following two locations:
 
Kelowna  – Saturday, May 28th, 12:00-3:00 Okanagan Mission Activity Centre, 4398 Hobson Road, Kelowna
OK Falls   – Saturday, June 25th, 12:00-3:00 Kenyon Park Okanagan Falls 5332 Cedar Street, OK Falls (behind IGA)
 
     This is the first year that we are having a BBQ for our members in the South Okanagan to enjoy lunch and have fun in the sun.  Please RSVP as soon as you can with how many in your family can attend as both BBQ’s are coming up quick.

Kelowna: 2016 Home Share Provider & Community Conference

Hello,

On behalf of the Central Okanagan Professional Caregivers Society, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 7th Annual Home Share Provider & Community Conference which will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Holiday Inn Express Kelowna. 

This year’s conference topic is “Improving Quality of Life” which is especially relevant to our profession and for people with diversabilities.  The presenter will be Bob Bowen who is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester and faculty member of Mandt System Incorporated. 

Please register early and plan on being part of our 7th Annual Home Share Provider & Community Conference this year.  I am confident of the great value that this Conference will bring to all.

Scholarship Opportunity

CLBC has a scholarship program for individuals looking into post secondary education. Deadline for application for this year is Friday March 18th.
