This month’s CLBC Community Council Family Forum topic is “Employment Options for Self-Advocates” presented by self advocates, TIER Support Services, and Pathways Abilities Society. Please remember to RSVP by 4:30pm next Friday, February 24th to Linda Farr (see attached PDF poster).

Michael Douglas will be presenting on the topic of Compassion Fatigue. The aim of this training is to support staff working in the challenging context of the opioid overdose public health emergency. Michael has worked for approximately 45 years in various roles within the Human Service Field. He runs full day training sessions on the topic of Compassion Fatigue that have been well received in our region.
The presentation will occur on February 15 at 1:00 -2:30pm. This event will be live streamed via video conference from the new lecture theatre in the Clinical Services Building at Royal Inland Hospital. If you want to connect to the video conference from your centre, please email Sheri.Keetch@interiorhealth.ca your site Name, Room Number and Alias by February 9, 2017. Space has also been booked at the Kelowna Community Health Services Centre where you are welcome to join us:
