Be aware of what information you provide, who you are providing it to, and why you need to provide it. If you aren’t sure of “the facts”, you can ask lots of questions and you can talk it over with someone you trust before you decide what to do!

More Income and Disability Assistance…

Hey everyone, Castanet is reporting that the B.C. government is increasing the monthly amount that people on income and disability assistance receive to help them with COVID-19.

If you are not eligible for the federal government’s emergency support programs, or if you are a low-income senior, you will get an automatic $300 monthly for three months starting this month (April). Benefits will not be reduced for those who qualify for the $2,000 Canada Emergency Response Benefit.
