Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) presentations

Hey everyone, CLBC’s August 27th update included information about several presentations being hosted by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for people with disabilities and caregivers:

  • Persons with Disabilities Presentation – September 2 and October 12, 2021 from 1:30PM – 2:30pm PDT  
  • Benefits and Credits for Caregivers Presentation – September 14 and October 5, 2021 from 1:30PM – 2:30pm PDT  
  • Scam Awareness Presentation – September 29 and October 26, 2021 from 1:30 – 2:15pm PDT

Free Planning Tool – myBooklet BC

The Family Support Institute (FSI) is holding an information session on February 16th at 6:30 pm about how to use a free online planning tool called myBooklet BC. This tool – myBooklet BC – can be used to store and share a personalized information booklet full of strengths, goals, gifts, and more…consider participating if you want to:

  • learn the basic functions of myBooklet BC
  • learn tips to make using myBooklet BC easier (like formatting information)
  • learn many different ways myBooklet can be used for the individual’s benefit

FREE Fall Webinars about Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning!

Hey everyone, did you know that Plan Institute is currently developing a new Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning webinar?

With the support of Law Foundation of BC, Plan Institute will be offering 4 FREE sessions (see dates below) during the pilot phase of this project.  These free sessions are available to residents of BC living outside of the Lower Mainland.
