The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a Canada-wide registered matched savings plan specific for people with disabilities. SLOCAN FLOAT CANCELLED (Aug. 24)

Hi All, Unfortunately, due to the horrible air quality at present, we will be cancelling this year’s Slocan Float. We are currently working on establishing another type of get together before the end of this smoky summer, so we’ll keep you posted on anything that we come up with. Hope you’re all staying safe and having a great summer. -May

SPOTLIGHT: MANDT Training – Sep. 20, 27

Community Connections is very proud to be offering the Mandt System training on September 20 and 27 in Trail!  Click here for Mandt Training info!  This training is presented by our very own certified Mandt Instructor, Sue Clark (Senior Home Share Coordinator).

Our residential support workers will be able to attend the additional workshop on September 27 (technical skills) while contracted Home Share Providers have the opportunity to obtain their certification on September 20 (relational skills).

If you are a CCSS Home Share Provider and interested in this training, contact Sue (250-608-0357) by WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th, to reserve a spot. If you are a CCSS employee and require the MANDT training, speak with your Service Coordinator as soon as possible.

Sue is looking forward to meeting all participants!
