CLBC is hosting an event on October 26th to build a better understanding of aging. The event is geared towards CLBC staff, self advocates, their families and support networks, service providers and health care practitioners. We will be launching our aging tool kit to support self-advocates, their family members and support networks so people can have the best outcomes as they age. Our tool kit consists of:
• a new website called, Aware, Share, Care;
• a book of stories that celebrate aging; and,
• a planning guide for families, care providers, personal support networks and other supporters of adults with developmental disabilities who are getting older.
The poster is also attached. If you have any questions please email: CLBCaging@gov.bc.ca
