FSI Weekly News…

…including the Family Support Institute’s brand-new Continuing Conversations Group on Facebook! Check out the news here!

This Facebook group was created so families and individuals could have a forum to connect with others from around the province who get and understand that journey. You are not alone – connect with Resource Parents/Family Members all over the province who volunteer their time with FSI to be able to ensure you are not alone whether you are 0 or 100 years old.

Be Prepared!

The Central Okanagan Emergency Operations bulletin sent out today encourages residents to be prepared for emergencies — there are useful links, preparedness information, checklists and videos at cordemergency.ca/beprepared. Residents are encouraged to visit cordemergency.ca and subscribe to receive notices directly from the Regional Emergency Operation Centre if its activated in an emergency. Keep in mind, in this COVID-19 pandemic environment, health and safety protocols would be in place for any Emergency Reception Centre in order to protect Emergency Support Services volunteers and evacuees.
