I Can Be Safe Online
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to pass along this information from CLBC. Check it out!
On June 30th, CLBC launched Canada’s first website dedicated to educating adults with developmental disabilities and their families on how to use the Internet safely. The website, <https://www.icanbesafeonline.com>, is a plain language visual resource
that provides tips, videos, stories, a quiz and a blog on Internet safety to the individuals CLBC supports. The website has a section specifically for families and people who work closely with the people we support so they can learn what risks may exist online, and what they can do to make sure that people using the Internet are being safe. We invite you to visit the site and share the link with anyone who may be
interested. A link for the site will also be available on the front page of the CLBC website.
